Signature Programs Orientation Our two-day kickoff for new grad students features informative programs, social events and resources to prepare you for graduate school. High Tables At our High Table events, grad students learn and discuss fascinating topics with presenting faculty members in Wyman House, the home of the Dean of the Graduate School. TigerFest This springtime tradition for grad students and families features a live DJ, free giveaways, bounce houses, endless carnival food options and plenty of games. Graduate Student Appreciation Week GSAW is a week-long celebration in April, in gratitude and recognition of our incredible grad students. Events include plenty of free swag and great food for everyone! Honorific Fellowship Awards Each spring, Princeton's departments and programs nominate scholars whose work shows exceptional promise. First-Year Receptions These receptions bring new grad students, faculty, and staff together over delicious drinks and appetizers in the gardens of Wyman House. You've Earned Your Stripes When grad students pass their generals, they “Earn their Stripes” and then we celebrate! Hooding and Recognition Honor and reflect on your accomplishments at Princeton during a series of meaningful commencement events. Oktoberfest Celebrating the start of fall at the Graduate College! Delicious German-style foods, curated by Dining Services, along with a beer tent and bonfire pits. Residential Community BBQs Every September, Lakeside and Lawrence Apartments Communities are treated to outdoor barbecue events. Student Life Events and Programs At the Graduate School, we feature a wide variety of programs nearly every week, all year.
