Amenities and Services Laundry Graduate College residents can pick up laundry cards at the Porter’s Lodge. Laundry facilities are located in several places: OGC: Basement of the 15th entryway NGC: Basement of the 34th entryway Visit the Graduate College House Committee site for details on how to report problems or request refunds for the machines housed at the Graduate College. The GCHC manages the Graduate College laundry machines. Annex residents do not need laundry cards, they can use laundry machines in the following locations: The Annexes: Basements of 11 Dickinson Street and 35 University Place Laundry machines at the Annexes are serviced by the University. Please call Facilities at 609-258-8000 to report any issues. Mail & Packages Graduate College residents can find details regarding packages and how to address mail on the Porter’s Lodge page. Kitchens Community kitchen spaces are available in both the Graduate College and the Annexes. Cabinets for your pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are available for reservation on a limited basis. Public Printers The Office of Information Technology provides convenient public printers, with locations including the Graduate College, Lakeside and Lawrence apartments. Custodial Services & Facilities For non-emergency maintenance and repairs, or to contact custodial services, please submit an online work request form. If your request is urgent (issues with security, locks, or leaks), please call 609-258-8000. If you have an emergency of any kind, the Department of Public Safety can be reached any time by dialing 911. Gather & Relax Common Spaces From gathering by the fireplaces in the Old Graduate College common room to our historic Van Dyke Library, there are plenty of places to relax and study. Find more at the GCHC site. Outdoor Living Grab a few friends and enjoy the sunshine, from casual Adirondack chairs in Thomson Court to quiet, lush gardens right behind the Graduate College. Graduate College Coffee House Looking to caffeinate or warm up with an herbal tea? Study and sip at this GCHC-run space on the first floor of the 11th and 12th entryways of the OGC. Open most nights from during the week–and drinks and snacks are free! The DBar Managed by the Graduate College House Committee, this private club serves resident and non-resident members of the Graduate College House who are 21 or over. Live music, pool tables, trivia nights and more make it a lively scene.
