One-stop resource for Princeton info related to federal actions

Feb. 25, 2025

Dear Graduate Students,

Following my spring memo, I now write to share with you a new one-stop resource for Princeton information related to federal government executive orders and policy announcements. As you’ll see, the page includes contact information for University offices that are monitoring specific issues. Please reach out to those contacts with any questions. You can also contact us here at the Graduate School with your questions and concerns through [email protected].

As President Eisgruber wrote in his Jan. 28 message to the community, “We are proceeding carefully to ensure that the steps we take are sensitive to the needs of our community, consistent across the University, and in compliance with applicable laws. As part of this process, we are also exploring measures to ensure continuity of operations and programs should temporary interruptions to funding occur.” We hope you will find this new website helpful. The University will update it as relevant information becomes available.

I know that some executive orders and policy announcements have created considerable concern and worry for many in our graduate school community and beyond. We share many of those concerns and are working diligently with campus partners on a range of issues. As President Eisgruber noted in his letter to the community, “Together, we will rise to meet difficult challenges, and energetically pursue this University’s mission of teaching, research, and service in the year ahead.”

As a reminder you may always connect with me during my office hours or schedule a meeting via Frances Juhasz.

With all good wishes,

Rodney Priestley

Dean of the Graduate School
