The Graduate School announces the launch of new features in My Financials

Feb. 17, 2021

The Graduate School announces the launch of new features in My Financials, a centralized home for student financial information accessed via the Student Financials Center in TigerHub.

My Financials will continue to offer access to important resources, including student paycheck history, the annual support letter, detailed information on the student account, as well as tax withholding and direct deposit options. My Financials now includes:

  • Direct access to assistance programs like the Graduate Advance Program and the Graduate Child Assistance Program (GCAP)
  • A searchable directory of University Knowledge Base articles and links to external resources for guidance on financial questions
  • A new Net Pay Tool which lays out a unified view of University income and expenses which can be downloaded for use in personal financial planning.

These improvements were developed in partnership with a team of graduate students who participated in workshops and usability testing over the past year. We thank them for their time, effort, and insight. From these students, we learned about existing obstacles to understanding and anticipating income and expenses including University financial support, stipend deductions, tax withholding, and other financial obligations that may vary over the course of the year.

We encourage students to log in and explore My Financials. We hope that it provides a deeper understanding of their financial landscape and meaningful connection to the services and support Princeton offers.
