Written by Graduate School Staff Aug. 2, 2023 Long-time Princeton University professor Rodney Priestley concluded his first academic year as the Princeton Graduate School dean in May. In a supplement to the July 2023 issue of Princeton Alumni Weekly (PAW), Dean Priestley marked the moment by sharing some thoughts on the Graduate School, graduate education, and leadership. Also, in "A Conversation between Leaders", new Northwestern University President Michael Schill '80 interviewed Dean Priestley exploring Priestley's views on current topics in higher education and their relevance to the Princeton Graduate School. (Priestley earned his doctorate at Northwestern.)
