The Graduate School’s Student Life team presents:
Day trip to Midtown Manhattan!
Join us for a low cost trip to New York on Saturday, December 8th, 2018!
The Student Life team has charted a round-trip bus at the low cost of only $10 per person to Midtown Manhattan. You are free to travel and explore at your own accord for the duration of your time in Manhattan. There are countless attractions, all within walking distance such as Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, holiday light displays, restaurants, and free/low-cost museums!
This event is open to Graduate Students and their guests. Seating is limited, 53 seats are available on the bus. You may request 1 or 2 tickets only.
We will be collecting responses from 11/20/2018 through 11/27/2018. All names will be entered in a lottery system.
You will be either successful in your request or waitlisted. All will be notified of their status on Wednesday, 11/28/18.
The bus will leave from the Graduate College Circle (adjacent to Cleveland Tower) at exactly 9:30am on Dec. 8th, and will drop off our group at Bryant Park at approximately 10:30am.
The bus will arrive to pick-up the group at the same location at Bryant Park at 5:00pm to head back to campus, dropping us off back at the Graduate College Circle at approx. 6:30-7:00pm
Cash payment in the exact amount of $10 per person is due at the time of boarding the bus to Kevin Fleming, Assistant Director for Residential Life.
The Fine Print:
If you are successful in the lottery and your plans change preventing attendance, it is expected that you inform Kevin Fleming at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately so your seats can be offered to waitlisted students.
Please double-check to ensure you are free and able to attend this trip before requesting to reserve seats!
Please note, it is the responsibility of attendees to ensure they are keeping track of time. We cannot wait for attendees who are late and miss the bus, so please plan accordingly.
