Veterans' Educational Benefits

Princeton University welcomes applications from veterans who are eligible for education benefits offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

As an educational institution that proudly includes active duty service members, veterans, and their families in our graduate student body, Princeton is fully committed to the Principles of Excellence outlined in Executive Order 13607

Students may be eligible for a combination of benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to support graduate study at Princeton, including both the Yellow Ribbon Program and the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. To learn more about the certification and coordination of these benefits, please reach out to Meghan Krause on the Graduate School Finance Team.

We work closely with the Office of the Registrar to facilitate the coordination of benefits for our eligible service members and veterans.

Application Fee Waiver

In addition to participating in the programs above, you will have an opportunity to indicate your service during the application process, and the application fee will be waived.

Financial Shopping Sheet

The University strives to offer transparency about costs and the aid available to meet those costs so that students can make informed decisions on financing their graduate degree. The Financial Shopping Sheet outlines expected financial obligations associated with graduate study at Princeton as well as support options available to you.
