TDI Volunteering Event
TDI Connect (formerly called the Trenton Digital Initiative) is a nonprofit organization based in the nearby city of Trenton. TDI Connect collects donated computers and re-programs/refurbishes them for distribution to economically challenged families in the city. We have set up this volunteer date/time in the hopes of taking 5 graduate students to their headquarters to learn some quick training and spend a couple hours or so installing software on donated computers. You do not need to be highly proficient with computers to volunteer and take part. If you are interested and committed to volunteering, please email Kevin Fleming, Assistant Director of Residential Life, at email@example.com. Again, 5 slots are open so please act quickly. A dinner at Chipotle will be paid for by Kevin at the end of the event as a token of appreciation for your volunteer efforts. Transportation is not provided, carpooling is encouraged.
