Oct 14 2017 -
8:00am to 3:00pm

Mount Tammany is one of New Jersey’s most popular hikes! Rising up 1526 feet at the southern end of the Kittatinny Mountains, the summit offers spectacular views of fall foliage and fauna in the Delaware Water Gap between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The trail climbs 1250 ft (380m) in 1.5 miles (2.4 km); prior hiking experience is strongly recommended. Transportation will be arranged by car pool. Please RSVP and indicate if you’d be willing to drive others. Drivers will be compensated for gas costs. Please note all participants must sign an Assumption of Risk and Release form before participating in this trip. Please email Daniel at dvitek@princeton.edu to sign up.
