Being Human Festival 2018 Proposal Workshop
‘Being Human’ is a festival that connects innovative research in the Humanities—like yours—with the public. Created at the University of London, Princeton will be the first North American host for ‘Being Human’ this November and December. We want to help you discover ways to translate your work into hands-on activities, shared experiences, conversations, or performances, in short, events that go beyond the ordinary frameworks of seminars, symposia, and lectures.
To support your ideas the Humanities Council is offering both financial and planning support to graduate students. The Council and the Graduate School invite you to session dedicated to brainstorming and showing you how to develop proposals for these $250-$2,500 grants.
You will gain valuable experience in proposal preparation, strategic thinking about how the translate your work for broad audiences, and the opportunity to imagine outside-the-box events.
