The 2018-19 Graduate Child Assistance Program (GCAP) online application form will be available on TigerHub in late July. GCAP online applications are accepted throughout the year; you must reapply each year.
In order to receive the maximum eligible award for 2018-19:
Returning graduate students must complete and submit the online application with all required documents by August 31, 2018.
Newly admitted graduate students must complete and submit the online application with all required documents by September 30, 2018.
All awards for approved applications received after the deadlines will be prorated.
Students expecting or adopting a new child after the application deadline must complete and submit the online application with all required documents no later than 90 days from the date of birth or adoption. If eligible, your award will be prorated based upon the date the complete application with all supporting documentation is received by The Graduate School. Please do not apply prior to the child's arrival; your application will not be reviewed prior to the birth or adoption of your child.
Claim Filing Deadlines
You have until September 30 to submit claims for reimbursement for your SCCAP for the prior award year. If you do not submit your claim for your SCCAP by September 30, any balance of your SCCAP award is forfeited.
If you have any questions about the GCAP, please contact Jeanette DeGuire at firstname.lastname@example.org.
