IvyPlus Exchange Scholar Program
Applications for the Fall Term 2021 are now being accepted. Please note that all classes will be taught in-person and hybrid options with remote teaching and research will not be available. Students who wish to take classes or conduct research at Princeton must be fully vaccinated in order to be approved to participate. Princeton graduate students who wish to participate at a host institution must abide by the host institution COVID-19 health protocols.
The IvyPlus Exchange Scholar Program enables Princeton Ph.D. students to take courses or conduct dissertation research for up to one academic year at one of the following universities:
- University of California, Berkeley
- Brown University
- University of Chicago
- Columbia University - (If taking only one course, please use IUDC form.)
- Cornell University
- Harvard University
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.)
- University of Pennsylvania
- Stanford University
- Yale University
Students are normally eligible for this exchange program after completing one year of residence at Princeton. Students are regularly registered at their home institution, and hold special nondegree status at the host institution. Participation in the program requires the approval of the director of graduate studies (or the department chair) and the graduate school dean at both the home and the host institutions. The deadline to submit an application is two months prior to the registration date at the host institution.
