Welcome to the Graduate School at Princeton University. We are looking forward to meeting you at the orientation events. Below is a schedule highlighting important events for you to attend.
- International Student Orientation
Thursday - Friday, September 4-5, 2008

101 McCormick Hall
Information will be mailed to international students directly by the Office of Visa Services. For students who can't attend our main program, we have a make-up immigration session to be held directly following Graduate School Orientation at 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 010 East Pyne.

Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall
A reception for incoming students and spouses is scheduled for that evening at 5:30 p.m. at the Princeton University Art Museum.
- New Graduate Student Sign-In
Wednesday, September 10, 2008
9 a.m. - noon
Chancellor Green Rotunda, East Pyne
At this event, students will:
- Complete Forms W-4 tax and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. Bring the supporting documents (international students: valid passport, Forms I-20AB or DS 2019 and I-94; U.S. citizens and permanent residents: state issued-driver’s license and U.S. Social Security card, or U.S. passport/resident alien card) to complete the Form I-9. Completion of these forms is required for payments of fellowships and/or service awards.
- Receive campus ID card, which also serves as your library, door access and meal card.
