Academic Regalia


Faculty-quality regalia
is custom-made regalia manufactured specifically for you. This regalia is manufactured for long-term usage, and with proper care could last your entire academic or teaching career. It is made of the finest materials and adheres strictly to the requirements set down by the Inter-collegiate Code. The cost of faculty-quality regalia is approximately $700 to $850.  If you intend to purchase faculty-quality regalia, you must contact Harden & Associates before the Friday, April 11, 2008, deadline. There will be a discount sale of regalia at the Clio Hall reading room, Wednesday, March 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Harden & Associates representatives will be present to take orders in person and over the telephone at 800-228-7935. If you are receiving the Ph.D. degree, you may order either the orange and black gown, which has been officially adopted by Princeton University, or the black gown with black velvet panels. The official Ph.D. hood lining for Princeton is orange with a black chevron.

Standard regalia is manufactured for a one-time use and serves as a meaningful memento of your commencement. If you intend to purchase standard regalia, you must do so through Harden & AssociatesThe deadline for orders for those whose degrees were awarded in September, 2007, November 2007, and January 2008 is Friday, April 11, 2008. The deadline for those whose degrees will be awarded in April and June, 2008 is Friday, May 2, 2008. The cost is $49.20 for the Ph.D. regalia and $41.25 for the master's (shipping and handling to your home address included).
