Mortgage Program

A mortgage program through Countrywide Home Loans is available to graduate students. Countrywide is offering terms that are exclusive to Princeton University’s faculty, staff and graduate students. Some of the terms of this program include:

  • Countrywide is licensed in every state. This means that homes may be purchased in any state.
  • Discounts on closing costs that are exclusive to Princeton faculty, staff and graduate students which are not available to the general public.
  • Loans will be processed locally at 20 Nassau Street.
  • Countrywide mortgage representatives will be available to meet with faculty, staff and graduate students at their home or office.

Through this program, graduate students will be able to choose from many programs based on their own personal income and credit. In addition, this program includes affordable options for both purchases of a primary or secondary (vacation) home, investment properties and refinance transactions, as well as, home equity lines of credit and second mortgages.
