Driving Directions to the Graduate College
The Graduate College is located at 88 College Road West, Princeton, NJ 08544.
Driving directions to Princeton are available on the University's main website. The Graduate College is located about half a mile from the main campus, on College Road West, off Alexander Street.
Coming from Nassau Street or Route 206
Turn onto Mercer Street. After passing the Princeton Theological Seminary, make a left turn onto Springdale Road which leads to Lot 19, the parking lot behind the GC. At night, the turn onto Springdale is fairly dark and not easy to see; if you have come to a traffic light at Olden Lane, you have gone too far. Turning from Mercer onto Springdale, the entrance to Lot 19 is the third possible entrance to the left (after passing a stone gate and an access road to the College kitchen, both on the left). Bearing left in the parking lot, walk through the basket ball court and follow the foot path to the Graduate College itself. Once you enter the College, the Old GC Common Room will be on your right, Procter Hall on your left.
Coming from Route 1
Take the Alexander Street exit and follow Alexander Street into town. You will go around several curves and over a small bridge. After the bridge, you will pass two traffic lights, the first is at a Sunoco gas station. About 100 yards after the second traffic light, turn left onto College Road, following it all the way to the end, bearing left at the fork in the road. Please note that parking at the Graduate College is limited. You are welcome to park in front of the College if space is available or, preferably, in the much larger Parking Lot 19 in the back of the College. If the smaller 2-hour parking lot in front of the College is full (please make sure not to block access for the campus shuttle bus that makes a stop at the GC!), go back onto College Road. Rather than returning to Alexander, however, take a left at the fork in the road (still on College Road). After passing through the stone gate at the end of College Road, take another left onto Springdale Road which leads to Lot 19. The entrance to Lot 19 is the second possible entrance to the left (after passing an access road to the College kitchen). Bearing left in the parking lot, walk through the basket ball court and follow the foot path to the Graduate College itself. Once you enter the College, the Old GC Common Room will be on your right, Procter Hall on your left.
Various online maps are available as well. Feel free to consult the interactivecampus map or print out (pdf) a campus map for general orientation.
