SSRC Fellowships Info Session (IDRF and DPDF)
This session presents an overview of the SSRC’s Mellon IDRF (International Dissertation Research Fellowship) and DPDF (Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowship) programs. A representative from the Social Science Research Council will be available to address your specific questions.
The Mellon IDRF program offers nine to twelve months of support to graduate students in the humanities and social sciences who are enrolled in PhD programs in the United States and conducting dissertation research on non-US topics. Please note that the IDRF program supports research only and may not be used for dissertation write-up. For more information and eligibility requirements please see http://www.ssrc.org/fellowships/idrf-fellowship/.
The DPDF program helps early-stage doctoral students in the humanities and social sciences formulate innovative dissertation research proposals through workshops, exploratory summer research, and writing guided by peer review and faculty mentorship. For more information and eligibility requirements please see http://www.ssrc.org/fellowships/dpdf-fellowship/.
