Simpatico

Sep 27 2017 - 7:30pm

Buried secrets, blackmail, and false identities race onto the stage in Simpatico, a tragicomedy about the slippery netherworld of thoroughbred racing from Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist Sam Shepard. When a simple phone call causes Carter and Vinnie’s shady past to resurface, fierce loyalties that were once hot-blooded begin to run astray. The acclaimed Chicago ensemble A Red Orchid Theatre will bring this riveting American drama to Princeton, starring Tony and Oscar-nominated actor Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire, Nocturnal Animals, Long Day’s Journey Into Night) and members of A Red Orchid Theatre.  This performance will also feature an optional highly interactive audience-based post-show discussion facilitated by an artist from the production.  Seats are limited and are only available for Princeton graduate students. Contact Olivia at omartel@princeton.edu  to reserve a ticket indicating your name, PUID number (the nine digit number on the front of your PUID card), and the last two digits of your social security number.  To bring a guest that is not a PU student you would need to buy their ticket for $15 and indicate that you will bring a guest when you first email.  Please note, VSRCs are not eligible for the Tiger Ticket program.
