Mindfulness in a Hectic World

Sep 30 2014 -
6:30pm to 7:30pm

Most of us multi-task, feel pressured, stressed, and unable to concentrate. We rush through activities without paying attention, eat without noticing, and listen to others without really hearing them. One antidote is to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present without drifting into concerns about the past or future or getting caught up in making judgments about what's happening. So let's pause, take a breath, calm the mind, and feel balanced and calm!  Facilitated by Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW. Sign up with Olivia at omartel@princeton.edu.
