Family-Friendly Outdoor Movie: Brave (2012)
Inspired by the pioneering women featured in the Museum’s exhibition Women, Art, and Social Change: The Newcomb Pottery Enterprise, this year’s outdoor film series celebrates women in film. The series concludes with family favorite Brave. Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse. This film is rated PG and is 1 hour and 33 minutes long. Film begins at sundown/8:30-ish and in the event of rain, film will be shown at 8pm in McCormick Hall 101 (the Museum, right next to outdoor site).
