Four leading African American Studies scholars come together for what is sure to be an impassioned discussion about contemporary black issues, and an exploration of ideas of how African-American communities might reinvigorate democratic life in post-Obama America, with imagination and courage. Expect this conversation to explore black politics, state violence and poverty and various social movements. A Q&A will follow the conversation.
