Your Princeton netID

Your passport to technology resources and support

Your Princeton University network identifier -- we call it your netID -- is your passport to technology resources and support at Princeton University.

In early June, you will receive a letter from OIT with your netID, as well as a temporary password. There will be instructions for activating your account and changing your password to a secure one. Once this important step is completed, you will have access to your Princeton e-mail account and the University network, and to campus computer resources when you arrive on campus.
