Technology Support for Graduate Students
We look forward to your arrival.
When you arrive, OIT will be available for extended hours and at special orientation events throughout Orientation week. An Orientation schedule will be posted in the coming weeks. This schedule will include all the events at which OIT representatives will be available to answer your IT questions. The extended hours of operation for many of the IT resources available to you will also be included in this schedule.
By now, you should have received your Princeton University network identifier (netID); if, by chance, you haven't, call the OIT Help Desk for assistance. To reach a Help Desk consultant, call (609) 258-HELP (4357), e-mail helpdesk@princeton.edu or use the online chat from the OIT home page.
If you're still looking for that perfect computer for your academic studies, consider the options offered by the University's Student Computer Initiative (SCI). The just-released Dell E-series is now available and the E6400 and E6500 models are ready to order through the online SCI store.
To talk to someone about OIT resources before your arrive, don't hesitate to contact the OIT Help Desk -- a support service available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
See you in September.
