Every entering graduate student is required to submit a recent electronic passport-quality photograph in JPG format on a white or light colored background. When saving your photo please name it with your student ID number.jpg (999999999.jpg). Your student ID number can be found on your admission offer.
Must submit by June 1 to email@example.com in JPG format.
Must submit to firstname.lastname@example.org in JPG format.
Please include the following in your email:
- Last Name, First Name
- Student ID as shown on your Admission Offer
- Academic Department
- Start Date
If we have any problems with the photograph you submit you will be notified. Please review the information below carefully so that you will understand our policy and the use of your photograph.
A copy of your photograph will be sent to the TigerCard Office for your official University ID which will be ready when you arrive on campus. Your University ID card serves as your meal card, allowing you to charge food at any of the dining centers on campus. It also serves as an access card to gain entrance to campus dormitories, academic buildings, library, gymnasium, athletic events and other University activities.
An electronic copy of the photograph is also used to identify students in administrative systems. Your photo on this ID card assures that, if your card is lost or stolen, it can be reliably returned to you and not abused by others, with possible costs accruing to your student account. Academic departments may also use your photograph for other purposes such as a new student face board, at their discretion.
